Sure it's cheesy, and those endless audition shows are about as entertaining as a vasectomy. But once the finalists start singing, I'm hooked.



4) 'American Idol' Contestants Should Be Able To Play An Instrument
Hey, they don't have to be the next Eric Clapton, but most sixth graders can play at least some kind of musical instruments. Why can't any of the 'American Idol' contestants?



5) I Would Never Buy A CD From An 'American Idol' Performer
Jordan Sparks? Blake Lewis? Kelly Pickler? Oh, please, I would rather buy a CD of nothing but silence.
