Sure, I can argue for days about 'American Idol' and why I believe the
show says as much about the lack of imagination in the music industry
as it does about the amount of undiscovered musical talent in America.
But what matters in the end is what the viewers think. And we're here
to ask you the important questions. Well, maybe important is a stretch.
We're using a cool new survey site called "Slantly" to find out what
you think.
You can simply click "Agree" or Disagree" in the boxes below, or click
on the link to post your opinions about the questions on Slantly.
1) Paula Abdul Could Be The Most Insane Woman On Television
And yes, I'm counting any of the Spears girls and anyone who has ever
appeared on "Rock Of Love With Bret Michaels."
2) 'American Idol' Would Decrease In Ratings If Simon Cowell Left The
Show.
Simon makes the show with his scathing remarks and brutally honest opinions.
If the talent level remains the same as last season (poor to average)
and Simon were to leave, the show would be knocked off its rating's pedestal.
3) I'm Looking Forward To 'American Idol'
Sure it's cheesy, and those endless audition shows are about as entertaining
as a vasectomy. But once the finalists start singing, I'm hooked.
4) 'American Idol' Contestants Should Be Able To Play An Instrument
Hey, they don't have to be the next Eric Clapton, but most sixth graders
can play at least some kind of musical instruments. Why can't any of the
'American Idol' contestants?
5) I Would Never Buy A CD From An 'American Idol' Performer
Jordan Sparks? Blake Lewis? Kelly Pickler? Oh, please, I would rather
buy a CD of nothing but silence.
