Frankly, there are just some things you don't want to know about a celebrity.
And one of them is how they look while undergoing a prostate exam.
Actor/comedian Brad Garrett will be undergoing the procedure Friday during
the celebrity-packed TV special "Stand Up For Cancer."
In non-televised instances, a prostate exam usually involves the male
patient bending over, while a doctor probes the nether regions with a
finger to feel for abnormalities in the prostate gland.
It's not clear what will be visible to audiences during the show, but
producers promise it will be "funny."
"Well, how do you not play a part in something so crucial as the battle
against cancer?" Garrett told ABCNews.com. "I was honored to be asked
to participate, and a humorous skit about a prostate exam to heighten
awareness and prevention was right up my alley. No pun intended."
"Stand Up For Cancer" airs simultaneously on five networks
tonight at 8/7 pm CT.
