Some
people just don't understand the concept of irony.
That's
the only message I can gather from a show that uses the 1970's
schlock-pop Zager and Evans tune "In the Year 2525"
as a theme song. In pop culture terms, that roughly equvalent
to kicking off a martial arts series with a remake of "Kung
Fu Fighting."
Okay,
enough useless venting and back to the real point. Is this new
half hour action series any good? Well, read on.
Cleopatra
2525 is one thirty minute half of a new one hour block that debuted
in syndication this month.
