Biography:
Jane Adams had recurring roles on the series Frasier and Family Ties. Her television credits also include the series Relativity, The Outer Limits and Tales from the Darkside and the movies "LIBERTY! The American Revolution," "Rising Son" and "Taking a Stand."

Among her feature film credits are "The Anniversary Party," "Wonder Boys," "Mumford," "You've Got Mail," "Father of the Bride Part II," "Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle," "I Love Trouble," "Happiness," "Vital Signs" and the upcoming "Adaptation."

Adams received a Drama Desk Award for Featured Actress for her performance in "An Inspector Calls" and an Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Debut of an Actress for her role in "I Hate Hamlet." She earned a drama degree from Juilliard in 1989.

She is a native of Washington, D.C., and lives in Los Angeles. Her birth date is April 1.
