Biography: Best known for his starring
role on the hit series "Undeclared," Jay Baruchel recently co-starred
in Warner Bros.' Academy Award-winning movie "Million Dollar Baby," opposite
Clint Eastwood, Hilary Swank and Morgan Freeman. He most recently filmed
the independent features "Fetching Cody" and "I'm Reed Fish," in which
he will play the title role opposite Alexis Bledel ("Gilmore Girls").
No stranger to the stage, Baruchel began acting at age 12. The Canadian-born
actor has since appeared in a number of feature films, including "Nemesis
Game," "The Rules of Attraction" and in the memorable role of Vic Munoz,
the obsessed Zeppelin fan in "Almost Famous." Most recently, Baruchel
starred in the Max Mutchnick and David Kohan produced series "The Stones."
In addition to acting, Jay also plays drums in the Canadian rock band
Martin. Jay will divide his time between Los Angeles and Montreal for
the filming of the series. He is an avid hockey and soccer fan. |
