Jack Scalia
Biography:
Miriam Shor joins NBC’s "Must See" Thursday lineup as Julie Hermann,
Adam Schwartz’s (Breckin Meyer) friend, confidant and possible romantic
interest on "Inside Schwartz."
Born
in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Shor spent part of her childhood living
in Italy before graduating from the University of Michigan. After
completing her education, Shor starred in several regional and national
theater tour productions before creating the role of Yitzak in the
award-winning off-Broadway rock extravaganza "Hedwig and the Angry
Inch." She recently reprised her role of Yitzak for the award-winning
Sundance film (Audience Award and Director Award). Shor is featured
on its Grammy-nominated CD recording.
In addition to theater, Shor recently completed the feature film
version of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," which premieres July 2001.
Shor also appeared in several feature films including "Bedazzled,"
co-starring Brendan Frazier, and the independent features "Entropy,"
"Flushed" and "Let It Snow."
In
her spare time, Shor enjoys exploring every restaurant in New York,
where she currently resides. Her birthday is July 25.
