The Most Famous Actors Over 70

The public often focuses on young, new stars in Hollywood, frequently forgetting the greats who blazed a trail years ago. But while many people retire well before they qualify for Social Security, a commendable number of actors keep working and producing memorable work well into their 70s.

PrettyFamous, a Graphiq site, ranked the most famous actors over 70. For each actor, PrettyFamous developed a "Actor Score" to determine his or her relative degree of fame. This score is based on the weighted average of each star's Wikipedia page views over the past 30 days, the number of award nominations received and the total number of the actor's projects’ IMDb ratings. The list is ranked by Actor Score and ties are awarded to the older actor.
