'Sharknado 2' Has An Official Title, Or When Is An 'Exclusive' Not That Exclusive?

Sharknado
On Thursday, Syfy announced the title for the sequel to the film "Sharknado." Entertainment Weekly had the "exclusive," which was a short story revealing the title, along with a quote from Thomas Vitale, executive vp of programming at Syfy.

The problem for EW's "exclusive" is that rival trade web site The Wrap had a short post revealing the title that was dated three hours earlier than EW's story.

Sharknado
So who had the story first and who really had the exclusive?

The timestamp on the EW.com story was 5:18 p.m. while the one on The Wrap post was listed at 2:27 p.m.

On the other hand, EW's James Hibberd (who wrote that publication's piece) tweeted out a link to his post nine minutes before The Wrap sent out the tweet to their post.

Even more confusing, The Wrap story is now updated with a byline by Anthony Maglio. It has the same headline and timestamp, but it includes a few more details than the original short post. Among the new details are the same quotes from Thomas Vitale (I'm assuming they came from a press release)?

So who had the story first? I'll let you figure out that one for yourself.
