Snapchat Ad Network Naritiv Raises $3 Million From Disney, FreeForm

Naritiv recently announced it has closed a $3 million Series A funding round.
The company identifies and connects advertisers and brands with Snapchat influencers. It also provides metrics that allow companies to track the reach and effectiveness of campaigns.
Naritiv launched out of the Disney Accelerator program in 2015, and investors in this round of funding include Disney, FreeForm, Luminary Capital and Third Wave Capital. The company had previously raised $1.2 million in seed funding.
It can be difficult for brands and advertisers to identify the most influential personalities on Snapchat, since the site has no trending or popular aggregated page and anything posted on Snapchat can only be viewed for 24 hours.
Naritiv has identified what it says are more than 300 of Snapchats most popular and influential users. It works as a middleman between those influencers and brands such as Fox, ABC Family, Coca-Cola and Redkin.
One example of a Naritiv Snapchat campaign is from last year, when the company helped ABC Family launch a campaign built around the fifth season of PRETTY LITTLE LIARS. The campaign amassed more than 800,000 Snapchat followers for the show, accounting for 140 million total views and more than 215,000 hours of content watched.
