Meet The New 'Sabrina, The Teenage Witch'

We do indeed live in the era of the television series reboot and one of the many shows making a comeback this year is the Melissa Joan Hart series "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch."

The series ended in 2003, but it is returning to Netflix later this year. Now named "The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina," the first picture from the series has been posted on Twitter by Roberto Aguirre Sacasa, who is the show's writer.

Sacasa also created "Riverdale," the Archie Comics-based series that was just picked up for a third season by The CW. The new Sabrina will be part of the "Riverdale" universe and promises to be a darker show than the original.

Sabrina and Harvey, played by Melissa Joan Hart and Nate Richert in the original series, will be played by Kiernan Shipka and Ross Lynch in the new version. Shipka is best-known for playing Sally Draper in "Mad Men." Lynch is a singer in the pop-rock band R5.

Netflix has ordered two 10 episodes seasons of "The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina," which will premiere this fall.
