Here is a recap of the first night of 'This Is Life Live: 2018' - First we met some of the survivors from the Route 91 Festival tragedy. Host Lisa Joyner welcomed mother Kristi and her daughter Brooklyn as we learned about what happened that night. Lisa read Kristi an emotional letter from a man named Brian, who was one of the people Kristi helped save that night. Then Kristi met the two women who helped save her daughter that night, Tina and Jennifer, who were reunited with Brooklyn. Then we met Nick, the youngest known survivor from the concert, as he too was reunited with the heroes who saved his life that tragic night. Finally, one of the bands from the festival, the Josh Abbott Band, paid tribute to those who lost their lives and to those who survived in a special performance.
