J.J. Abrams
J.J. Abrams has agreed to direct the pilot of the new NBC spy series "Undercovers." He is also executive-producing the series.

"Undercovers" will be first TV pilot he has directed since the two-hour premiere of "Lost" in 2004. The show is described as "Mr. and Mrs. Smith"-meets-"The Bourne Ultimatum."

Abrams' other TV directing credits include a 2007 episode of "The Office" and a 2006 episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

Abrams is also developing a half-hour medical comedy for Fox.
