Synopsis:
"Crossing the Line" is a timely drama about what happens when
overly competitive parents lose their cool at youth sporting events.
Laura Mosbach
(Terry Farrell), a single mother and former All-American basketball
player, moves to a small Michigan town and lands a job as assistant
coach for a three-time championship girls high school basketball
team, the Lady Warriors. Laura has instant chemistry with Eric
Harrison (Adrian Pasdar), the single father of a talented sophomore
player named Carly.
After an unexpected
incident catapults Laura into the position of head coach, she
clashes with several parents who push their daughters incessantly
to win at all costs. When an ugly brawl breaks out between players'
parents during one of the team's games, Laura realizes she must
take a stand.
