Synopsis:
After
the death of her adoptive mother, book editor Maggie Livingston
(Terry Farrell) feels free to look for her biological mother. her
search takes her to a small California mountain town, where she
works, and eventually falls in love, with an ostensibly boorish
writer (Jim Davidson), whos' been hurt by love in the past. At the
same time, Maggie discovers her real mother died accidentally and
did not leap to her death in a lover's suicide pact as had been
reported.
