Synopsis:
The
commercials featured in the show have been recognized by prestigious
awards shows such as Cannes, Golden Lions and Epica Festivals.
Some of the countries from which commercials have been selected
and are currently scheduled to appear in the special are Germany,
Sweden, Canada, Scotland, New Zealand, South Africa, Korea, Mexico,
Japan, Holland, Czech Republic, Argentina, Denmark, Israel, England,
Poland, Australia and France.
Categories
include commercials featuring animals, kids, the sexiest commercials
and the best low-budget advertisements. A wide-range of commercials
from McDonald's, Victoria's Secret, Citibank, Dr. Pepper and Reebok
are currently scheduled to be included in the special.
Also included
will be a list of the top 10 greatest commercials of the past
year, as voted on by visitors of both USAToday.com and CBS.com.
Voters can go to the Web sites to place their votes beginning
on April 24 through May 6.
