Guide: The Click
Synopsis:
Three teams of two teen-aged contestants each (usually two boys,
two girls and one boy and one girl) competed. The central gimmick
of "Click!" which was played in three rounds centered on computers
and the Internet.
In Round 1,
each team competes, one at a time, in a 60-second question-and-answer
round; in round 2, a team controlled the board until missing a
question or hitting a space called "Virus," at which time control
passed to one of the other teams.
In Round 3,
host Seacrest selected the categories, with one member of each
team stationed at one of three sites; their teammates scrambled
to switched places after an undefined time limit.
All questions
were worth cash; the highest scorer after three rounds played
a bonus round, where answering three questions correctly won a
bonus prize.
