| Synopsis: The latest in the successful
"Star Trek" franchise, ENTERPRISE is now entering its third
season. The series' creators/executive producers Rick Berman and Brannon
Braga, longtime chieftains of the "Star Trek" movies and television
series, bridge the gap between today's world and that of the original
"Star Trek." Combining science fiction, action/adventure and
compelling stories of bravery and heroism, ENTERPRISE remains true to
the spirit of one of popular culture's most formidable brands.
A prequel to the original "Star Trek" series, ENTERPRISE
takes place during the early pioneering days of deep space exploration
when interstellar travel is in its infancy and 100 years before Capt.
James T. Kirk takes the helm of the famous starship. Set midway through
the 22nd century, ENTERPRISE, led by the intrepid Capt. Jonathan Archer,
explores the history of intergalactic upheaval that eventually leads
to the formation of The United Federation of Planets.
In last season's chilling season finale, a mysterious and deadly race
of aliens called the Xindi emerged from the far reaches of the galaxy
and attacked Earth, killing millions of people. Having discovered that
they are planning on mounting another attack that will completely destroy
Earth and mankind for good, Archer sets out on a new mission to track
down and put an end to these enemy aliens.
Armed with an upgraded Enterprise ship, Archer will lead his crew into
the dangerous Delphic Expanse, encountering strange new alien beings
and frightening places where even the laws of physics do not apply.
Joining the Enterprise crew this season will be an elite group of military
commandos who will assist them in their new mission and also provide
for more conflict between the crew. In addition to being more action
packed with spectacular special effects, exciting new changes will be
seen in a more driven and resolute Captain Archer, a sexier and more
humanized T'Pol, and a vengeful Trip, who is seeking retribution against
the aliens who killed his sister.
