| Synopsis: The series gives the
titans of trash only ten hours to build the most ambitious machines we've
ever seen, designed to function on land, water, in the air and on the
snowy slopes. Along the way, our brand-new Junkyard Mega-Wars hosts
Rossi Morreale and Bobbi Sue Luther are on a mission to track what's going
down with the teams at all times, hunt down the engineering story as it
happens and stump participants with well-aimed technical questions. Rossi and Bobbi Sue are a firecracker pair of young, cool and daring hosts -- a latter-day Mad Max paired up with a tough, Tank Girl. He is a hunk with attitude, a smidgeon of mischief and a wicked sense of humor. She is an action girl (and a bit of a tomboy) who is always ready with a tricky question. Engineering meets aggression with our new permanent team captains, Crash and Bowser. The best in the business, they engage in a battle in a yard battle to stay on top and bring home the Junkyard Mega-Wars trophy. Bowser is a 6'5 "gentle giant" made of pure, physical, motorcycle-cop brawn. |
