Guide: Level 9

Synopsis:
A new breed of law enforcement takes on a new breed of crime.
What if our
nuclear arsenals were vulnerable? What if our air traffic control
systems were jeopardized? What if the three thousand people in our
witness protection program were threatened? It's already happening,
according to Newsweek and 60 Minutes.
The computers
that are the life blood of our economy also make us vulnerable to
faceless criminals so menacing that the country could be paralyzed
in minutes with apocalyptic consequences. Where does one look for
this elusive jackal, since almost every home and office in America
has a computer that can be used as a tool for chaos?
Enter Level
9, the first law enforcement agency prepared to fight this deadly
technological terror. Made up of unconventional and incorruptible
experts drawn from every Federal Law Enforcement Agency, the relentless
Level 9 team is led by Annie Price, a brilliant and uncompromising
woman who trusts no one outside her team -- and maybe not all of
them.
The one element
missing from the high-tech computer wizardry of Level 9 is added
when they grudgingly accept the street savvy and gut-instincts of
LAPD Detective John Burrows, who brings his own fierce independence
to the tight-knit group.
