Synopsis: Love Shack (which had a working title Single Guys) follows a single man and a single woman who are moved into a Southern Californian mansion on a quest to find true love and to compete against each other for a one-year lease on a Cali beach house.

The two singles will be introduced to two members of the opposite sex whom they will live with and date for four days while also competing in a variety of challenges. After four days, the principal housemates will decide who will stay -- and who will leave -- the “love shack.” As one person is packing up, another potential love match will move in to try and stake a claim. However, all of the contestants will remain in the running until the principals make their final selection during the last episode.

Once the principals have chosen their mate, the remaining participants will vote for one couple to win their very own love nest.
