Plus, an airman puts his life on the line to pull hikers off a crumbling hillside. And a teenage boy is swept away by a flash flood and goes under before rescuers can get to him. Plus, courageous firefighters run into a burning house to save a family trapped inside. Also, a paramedic scrambles to free a teenager crushed beneath a school bus. Stories take place in the following locations: Rochester, New Hampshire Long Beach, California Springfield, Missouri Parkland, Florida The Patapsco River, Maryland 1-4 Episode Four--10/01/2007 In this episode, a snowmobiler triggers a massive avalanche and his friends fight to dig him out before he's buried alive. Plus, a mother and son are saved from an apartment fire but the woman's daughter has been left inside. And, when a construction worker gets pinned in a muddy trench, firefighters risk their lives to pull him out before the walls collapse.
