Guide: Three Sisters
This is a
lighthearted comedy that takes place in Los Angeles, CA. It centers
around the lives of three sisters and their relationships with
each other and outsiders as seen through the eyes of Steven.
He’s married
to Bess (one of the sisters). She’s the oldest, an all-American
pregnant beauty, and pseudo mom who is always looking out for
her little sisters. She feels the need to make up for their Playboy
bunny Mom’s mistakes and also plays matchmaker to middle sister
Nora and younger sister Annie.
Although she
may mean well - she often tries a little too hard. Nora
is the middle sister and describes herself as "sardonic to the
point of bitter". After her husband Elliott left her to be "gay",
she moved to Africa to film wildlife for the Discovery Channel
but lost her job when the network went over budget on her show.
By the
way, Elliott isn’t gay.
Annie is the
youngest sister. She’s flighty and sexy. Annie was recently evicted
for not paying rent for the past "two or six months". Bess invites
Annie to move in with her, Steven and now Nora...and the "family"
is complete.
