Flashback Photo Gallery: '1992 MTV Movie Awards'

Ah, the 1992 MTV Movie Awards. The year's hottest movie was "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," the best comedy duo winner was Dana Carvey and Mike Myers for "Wayne's World" and when Vince Neil performed during the show, the appearance wasn't considered "ironic." Yes, it was a different time back then and not just because the nominees for "Best Song From A Movie" included Bryan Adams, MC Hammer and Color Me Badd.

1992 was the first year for the MTV Movie Awards and it was appropriately an odd and awkward show. William Shatner performed a melody of nominated songs, Ugly Kid Joe had a prime performance slot and one of the biggest laughs of the night came courtesy of Jon Lovitz. Which also may be the last time Jon Lovitz got a big laugh for doing anything.
