Today's Song You Should Know: The Fratellis - 'Sugartown'

If you found yourself captivated by the quirky stylings of Camila Cabello's "Havana," you are going to love this alt-pop piece of ear candy from the Scottish band The Fratellis. "Sugartown" is off of their fifth album - the just released "In Your Own Sweet Time" - and it has this loping beat and vaguely hipster 1950s feel that is immediately original and charming. Named for the criminal family in the movie "The Goonies," the band has had five Top 40 singles in the U.K., but has so far failed to break big in the United States. Although all of that could change if this track gets  the attention it deserves from American radio.
