Five Best Lines: 'About A Boy' - 03/11/2014

About A Boy
In the episode entitled "About A Godfather," Will (David Walton) attempts a much-needed boy’s night out with Andy (Al Madrigal), but complications arise, leaving Will to reach out to Marcus (Benjamin Stockham) in hopes of salvaging the evening. When Andy later becomes available, he attempts to track down Will, but instead winds up bonding over the joys of parenting with Fiona (Minnie Driver). Meanwhile, Andy and his reluctant wife Laurie (guest star Annie Mumolo) solicit Will to be godfather to their son.

Here are the five best lines from the episode:

"Do you think we can use the bumpers? I've really got my heart set on reaching the pins. And maybe even toppling one."

--Marcus (Benjamin Stockham) really isn't enjoying bowling with Will.

"Would it kill him to learn their names? He only knows my kid's name is Jonah because he stole it when he was using Marcus to get laid."

--Andy (Al Madrigal) complains about his best friend Will's lack of connection to his family.

"Andy is never around, which sucks. Or he bails, which blows. So as a friend, Andy sucks and blows."

--Will isn't all that thrilled with Andy right now, either.

"We're so far behind on 'Homeland' that we don't even know if Abu Nazir is a bad guy."

--Andy complains to Will about how difficult it is to raise children.

"You're not going to be the godfather, Will. But if you want to be Fredo, I'll gladly put you in a rowboat and shoot you."

--Laurie informs Will that he is not ready to be a godfather to her and Andy's children.
