Watch 'The Voice's' Josh Logan On 'Rockstar: Supernova' (Video)

It's becoming increasingly common for people participating in a reality or competitive TV series to have appeared on one or more other shows in the past. Partly it's a testament to the sometimes thin gene pool of talented, yet undiscovered performers. But it's also a reflection of the fact that some performers have such a strong drive to make it that they will do whatever it takes to become a star. No matter how many times they have to go back to the reality TV well.

For instance, singer Jordis Unga appeared on the second season of NBC's "The Voice, where she was part of Blake Shelton's team and she was eventually eliminated in the quarterfinal round. But astute TV fans recalled that she had also appeared on the 2005 CBS series "Rockstar: INXS," where she finished fifth. She had also appeared the previous year on a rebooted version of "Star Search."

On Monday's season five premiere of "The Voice," another alumni from the "Rockstar" series appeared, when singer Josh Logan did his blind audition. He wowed the judges and with good reason: he's a great singer. But he was also a great singer back in 2006 when he was part of "Rockstar: Supernova." As you can see from these video clips, he had hair back then and to be fair, while he made the show's top 15, he was quickly eliminated. Still, it's interesting to see someone give TV another shot.

While it is still way too early to predict how Logan will do on "The Voice," he appears to be a much better performer this time around.
