CBS Acquires Digital Multicast Rights To 'The Carol Burnett Show'

CBS Television Distribution (CTD) has acquired digital multicast rights to 276 episodes "The Carol Burnett Show." Some of the episodes have not been seen since they originally aired in the 1970s.

The rights are controlled by Carol Burnett, who acquired them from CBS as part of a deal back in the late 1990s.

CTD plans to offer the rights to classic TV networks such as Antenna TV or MeTV. It's also likely some streaming rights will be offered to the CBS-owned streaming platform CBS All-Access.
