Expiring From MHz Choice: April 2019

MHz Choice is a streaming service featuring new and exclusive international mysteries, dramas and comedies—unedited with easy-to-read English subtitles. It might be off of many people's radar, but it's a great service for people looking for the best international television outside of the normal U.K. - Norway - Australia axis.

Here is a list of series leaving the service at the end of March:

Frank Riva (France - 6 episodes)
He's lost his past, he's lost his roots - but not his enemies. Legendary French stage and screen actor Alain Delon (René Clément's Purple Noon, Jean-Pierre Melville's Le Samouraï and Luchino Visconti's Rocco and His Brothers) stars as Frank Riva, an ex-undercover cop called in from retirement after 25 years of exile.

Look Of A Killer (Finland - 8 Episodes)
Former KGB agent Viktor Kärppä isn’t a killer even though he looks like one, and he saw things on the job that he’d like to forget. In an attempt to escape his past and create some order in his life he settles in Finland, putting down roots in the country of his ancestors. Assimilating into his adopted culture proves impossible, however, because he comes off as an outsider. His multi-cultural background and fluency in Russian and Finnish, which were useful to him once, are now liabilities.

Unni Lindell (Norway - 12 Episodes)
In this series based on the popular crime novels by prolific Norwegian author Unni Lindell, middle-aged detective Cato Isaksen (Reidar Sørensen) performs superbly at work while his personal life, on a good day, resembles barely-managed chaos. Careening between significant others and keeping up with three young sons by two different mothers, Cato tries his best to do right by all the players.
